Hello everyone. My name is Jayden Bay, and this is my introduction blog post to the community. I am excited to be with you all for this RWS class, and I wish you all the best of luck throughout the course and assignments.

I am currently a freshman here at San Diego State University, who’s entering his second semester of college. My major that I am taking is Management, as I hope to get into the business and more specifically management field once I graduate. I am also currently considering taking a minor in accounting. I am from near Portland, Oregon and I came down to San Diego for two main reasons: the first is the nice weather down here, while the second reason is that I have some family down here as well.

There are a lot of things that I am currently interested in right now. One of them is sports, with my favorite sports being basketball and football. Me and my roommates have a bunch of jerseys hung up all over our room of some of our favorite players. Another interest and hobby I have is music. My favorite genre of music is hip hop/rap, and I’ve been playing the guitar for two years now. I just recently got a new electric guitar, so I’m in the process of adjusting myself to the new instrument. When I don’t have anything I’m doing, I tend to find myself either playing the guitar, watching a movie, or playing video games with friends. I especially enjoy watching movies with my friends.

I am currently not a part of any on-campus communities as of right now, however I’ve been actively researching and applying for clubs I’m interested in joining. Most of the clubs I’m looking into applying for are all a part of the business field as a whole, with each club focusing on different sub-sections of said field. I want to meet people who are in a similar major as I am, and also have similar interests. 

Overall, I hope this blog post did a good job of introducing the person I am to this class. I hope everyone who reads this has left with a better understanding of who I am and what I like to do. I am looking forward to a great semester with each and every one of you, and I wish all of you the best of luck in this class and your academic goals.
